Hi I'm Jack & I work at The Sound & Light Hire Company. We provide event services across the UK & we offer very competitive delivery rates to Heathrow & surrounding areas such as Staines-upon-Thames, Slough & Twickenham. We have also opted to use Shure wired & wireless mics & we stock a lot of them from your everyday SM58 wired mic to our flagship Shure UR4D wireless handheld radio mics. Talking about Shure we also stock the Shure PSM900 IEM (In Ear Monitor) so if you’re part of a live wedding band playing in one of the many hotels around Staines & Heathrow and you forget your IEM don’t worry we can help! The Sound and Light Hire Company was formed over 11 years ago as the need for a reliable and professional sound and lighting company in Surrey was in high demand & competition was low. Fast forward 11 years and the demand is somewhat the same but there is a lot of competition in and around Heathrow, Surrey, London, Berkshire & Hampshire. There are sound and lighting hire companies all over the place but how are we still here 11 years on? Simply because we offer a reliable and professional service, always have and we always will. This is one of the reasons why we are the preferred supplier for many local councils, wedding venues and hotels. We have an amazing reputation delivering incredible events!
11 years ago we offered a small range of lighting & sound equipment and at that time we didn't own any outdoor festival stages nor did we own any LED screens but as our company slowly grew so did our hire inventory. As we moved very aggressively into the lighting and staging market we saw a gap for a local company to offer this service and from that point we continued to grow investing in indoor and outdoor LED screens, trucks, to warehouses.
We offer a couple of different services and one is a ''dry hire'' service which is suited to customers that are planning smaller, private events. They are looking for a cost-effective, convenient sound & lighting equipment hire service where they can plug in an iPod or a laptop or stream music from their iPhone to a speaker system in a marquee, or to hire a simple plug & play party light. This service is perfect for customers who are looking to hire smaller wedding lighting packages or customers looking to hire LED disco lights for a party they are having in a hall.
So what else do we offer? Well... the other side of our business specialises in event production working one-on-one with clients organising all sorts of events from exhibitions to conferences to weddings to bespoke one-off product launches we are able to to bring your events to life offering advanced 3D visualisation and 3D modelling software showing you what your production will look like before you spend a penny. We stock the reliable and industry standard video camcorder the Canon XF305, a professional camcorder suited for live events and live streaming.
Alongside our new video cameras, vMix suite & even larger 85" large TV displays we also stock over 100m of 3.9mm high resolution iP65 rated outdoor LED video screen.
